Enjoy a day at leisure in this vibrant city where
the past meets the present in a living museum of culture and creativity!
You can watch the river traffic from
your chair by the pool, you can board the Sky Train and tour the downtown area,
you can visit Jim Thompson’s Silk House or you can enjoy a Thai massage after
your long flight. This evening our group will depart directly from the
hotel dock for a dinner cruise on the majestic
Chao Phraya
River
. You will enjoy a sumptuous Thai and international buffet as you cruise
by the glimmering lights of
Bangkok

After
breakfast we will be transferred by boat to the Tha Chang Pier. Following a
short walk, we will explore the
Temple
of
Emerald Buddah
. The temple is an architectural
wonder of golden stupas, walls and pillars encrusted in shining and colorful
mosaics. Admire the Emerald Buddha
statue carved from a single piece of jade, the most revered and precious image
of the Lord Buddah. Next we will see
the
Grand
Palace
, comprised of palaces and mansions all used for different occasions.
Then we continue to Wat Po,
Bangkok
’s oldest and largest temple with the 3rd biggest colossal
reclining Buddah in
Thailand
. We will enjoy a luncheon of
authentic Thai dishes at Supatra River House Restaurant, with spectacular river
views. Following lunch we will visit
the
Royal
Barge
National
Museum
to closely view eight of the country’s
most unique Royal Barges,
which are reserved for auspicious ceremonies.
We will return to our hotel by boat with an imposing view of the
Temple
magnificent multicolored
porcelain-studded towers, has become the most remarkable visual identity of
Bangkok
. The rest of the day is at

This
morning is your opportunity to participate in one of the most unique experiences
in
Thailand
– Buddhist almsgiving. Each
morning before dawn, the monks
quietly walk along the streets carrying alms bowls and receiving the steamed
rice and food from spectators who, in return, receive the monks’ blessings.
Following this very special custom, we will
explore the grounds of the
Marble
Temple
. Then proceed to the Floral and
Vegetable Market at Pak Klong Talat, where the streets are a profusion of color
from the numerous stalls offering exquisite orchids and other exotic blooms of
the east. We will return to our
hotel for breakfast and to freshen up before our transfer to embark the

arrangements will be made available, with the estimated cost to be

. If you choose to secure your
own flight arrangements, your arrival and departure times must match our
group air schedule to qualify for the included airport transportation.
There will be no refund for unused tour components.
Luggage restrictions and charges may apply, and will be advised
