Saturday, August 12
Fly to London

Depart from the USA for your overnight flight to London.

Saturday, August 13
London

Upon arrival in London, your private motorcoach will transfer you to the hotel, your home for the next three nights. The remainder of your day is free to relax or to begin your exploration of the city.

Sunday, August 14 
London

Today you will enjoy a full day of sightseeing in London, including such highlights as the Tower of London and the Crown Jewels, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, and of course, Buckingham Palace. Following your treat of lunch in a local pub, we will enjoy a cruise on the famous Thames River to view the beautiful city of London from the water. (B, L) 

Monday, August 15 
London

Enjoy your day at leisure to explore! Many optional tours will be available, including an inside visit to Buckingham Palace. Tour the city with the hop-on-hop-off narrated bus tour where you can explore the city at your own pace, taking in museums, galleries, restaurants and more. Take a tour to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, or enjoy the fine shopping London has to offer. (B)

Tuesday, August 16 
London to Southampton

Today you will be transferred from your hotel to Southampton to board the beautiful Crown Princess, your home for the next 12 nights. Spend the afternoon exploring the ship before sailing late afternoon. (B,L,D)

Wednesday, August 17 
Guernsey, England

This morning you will dock in St. Peter Port, the capital of the small British island of Guernsey. Here you will find a wonderful mixture of spectacular scenery, golden beaches, unique boutiques and restaurants, and a harbor bustling with ferries to other small sister islands. Enjoy a walk along the cliff's path, shop, relax or take in some additional excursions which will be offered. (B,L,D)

Thursday, August 18 
Cork (Cobh), Ireland

Despite its small town hospitality, Cork is Ireland's second-largest city and your gateway to romantic Ireland. Rich farmlands and river valleys define the countryside. You will find over 100 heritage and cultural sites covering over 600 miles of

spectacular coastline. Perhaps you will choose to visit the famous Blarney Castle, home to the Blarney Stone. Tradition says that whoever kisses the Blarney Stone receives the gift of eloquence and power of persuasion. (B,L,D)


Friday, August 19 
Dublin, Ireland

Visit a castle, or take a walking tour through the Georgian streets of Merrion Square. Shop O' Connell Street or ride on top of the city's hop-on hop-off double-decker tour buses, or just kick back at the St. James's Gate Guinness Brewery and enjoy a tasty pint with a perfectly, frothy head. Liverpool, England

Liverpool and the city region offer an array of tours in and around famous landmarks and intriguing attractions. With World Heritage status, Liverpool is home to some fascinating sights. Visit Albert Dock, where you can experience The Beatles Story, which is a unique visitor attraction that will transport you on an enlightening and atmospheric journey into the life, times and music of the Beatles. Belfast, Northern Ireland

Actually part of England, today you will have a full day in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It is the capital and largest city in Northern Ireland, and known primarily for its industrialism and was where the Titanic was built. You may choose to explore the city on your own, or choose from a variety of optional tours. Perhaps you will choose to visit Giant's Causeway, one of the world's natural wonders. Myth claims the giant Finn McCool used the causeway as stepping stones to travel from Ireland to Scotland to visit his lover, a Scottish giantess. (B,L,D)

Monday, August 22 
Glasgow (Greenock), Scotland

About 30 miles east of Greenock, Glasgow is known as the "Second City of the Empire." One of Britain's liveliest cities, a recent rejuvenation along with many priceless art collections draws visitors to the city center. From Glasgow, venture out into the rich farmland and salmon streams of the lowlands, visit the scenic lochs, or spend time in the city's shopping districts and art galleries. Tonight, you have the unique opportunity to experience the Military Tattoo. 

TThis will be the 61st year for this annual performance which takes place outdoors in the evening at Edinburgh Castle.he Tattoo features military precision drills with massed bands, bagpipes, and drums representing various international Scottish Regiments. The stirring pageant includes traditional Scottish dancing and historical re-enactments. (B,L,D)

Inverness/Loch Ness, Scotland

The heart of the Highlands, Scotland's northernmost district includes Loch Ness and the town of Inverness. This area of Scotland serves as the setting for many a tall tale and legend but its scenic beauty of high green hills and sparkling lochs will captivate you as well. Are you hoping to spot elusive "Nessie," the Loch Ness Monster? Optional tours will be available to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle where it is said Nessie lives beneath. (B,L,D)

Edinburgh, Scotland

Scotland's capital of Edinburgh is located in a fairy tale kingdom setting, dramatically set above the flatlands with a commanding vantage point. You may choose from a variety of optional tours. Visit the old medieval cathedral town and the site of the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, and the incomparable Old Course, or perhaps choose a walking tour of the Royal Mile. (B,L,D)

Paris/Normandy, France

Le Havre is the gateway to northern France. From this port, you can plan your day around your interests. London, England

After docking in Southampton this morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home. (B)

Air Arrangements

Discounted group air arrangements are available. Luggage restrictions and charges may apply, and will be advised.

If you choose to secure your own flight arrangements, your arrival and departure times must match our group air schedule to qualify for the included airport transportation. There will be no refund for unused tour components.

Group rate is based on 40 passengers. All rates, government fees, port charges and taxes are those in effect at time of printing and are subject to change.

*Princess Cruises reserves the right to reinstate a fuel supplement for all passengers at up to $9.00 USD per person per day if the New York Mercantile Exchange Index oil price exceeds $70.00 per barrel.

Destinations Unlimited, inc./Travel Leaders and WMT Radio reserve the right to take photos during any part of the tour and to use them for promotional purposes. By booking a reservation with Destinations Unlimited, inc./Travel Leaders, group members agree to allow their images to be used in such photos. Group members who prefer that their images not be used are asked to advise their group escort at the beginning of the tour.

 

PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP

All passengers are required to have a passport valid through February 28, 2012. Non-US citizens must have a valid passport and advise Destinations Unlimited, inc./Travel Leaders of your nationality at the time of deposit.

If the insurance premium is paid within 14 days of deposit, pre-existing conditions are covered, some limitations apply. If you decline Access America insurance, we strongly advise the purchase of travel insurance through another broker.
